You're right.     I prefer to limit the use of embellishments and focus on the pictures.     I think that trend you describe is more for showing what you can do - and more 'artsy'.  But for those of us who want to get lots of pages of pictures done, it's not practical.     My scrapping is about my g...

I designed and made my gown.   My daughter was going to wear it but thought it would be too hot for a beach wedding.   (She's since divorced)   

I'm keeping it in case one of my granddaughters can (will?) wear it it.

Many times when you are on "bed rest" you are allowed to walk to the bathroom and such - it's a matter of not moving around a lot.  

Ask if you are permitted to sit up in a chair with your legs elevated so that  you can go to your scrap area and get comfy there.    

How about cutting out some leaves and attaching those to nekkid parts
 

Definitely tea.   Lots of flavored teas - and many of them decaf (Which I use)
